Peter Segal

Robin has more than twenty years of executive recruiting experience as both the Principal of Ogilvie Executive Search and as a Corporate Vice President in the software industry. She has enabled clients to hire C-level executives across all functional areas, in multiple industries and global initiatives. Her expertise covers both new and emerging, as well as highly established companies and non-profits.
Robin’s vast network of relevant contacts, as well as her ability to conduct laser-focused, relevant research, enables her to identify, attract and qualify optimal candidates for any role. She synthesizes the information provided by her clients, to anticipate and create creative and original recruiting campaigns, yielding timely and accurate results.
Prior to Ogilvie, Robin spent over ten years in the software industry, working for Banyan Systems and Dun & Bradstreet Software.
She earned a bachelor’s degree from McGill University in Montreal, as well as a master’s degree from New York University.
Peter has substantial experience of partnering with clients building high impact executive teams in seventeen countries in Europe and Asia, as well as managing global searches. In addition, he has assisted clients in recruiting Non-Executive Directors and Advisory Board members.
His expertise covers founder-led British venture-backed companies looking to grow to the next stage of development as well as expanding their businesses to the US and Asia and publicly quoted companies looking to expand and/or rebuild their operations.
Whilst his experience includes a broad range of technologies and applications, his main expertise is in FinTech and B-B enterprise class SaaS based solutions.
Peter has acted in an advisory capacity on a wide range of issues such as organisational design, remuneration, mentoring, benchmarking client management teams against others in their sector, as well as outsourced recruitment services.
Prior to Ogilvie, Peter led the software practice for a leading Technology resourcing firm having previously worked for a British software company in a marketing capacity.
Peter is on the International Business Advisory Board at a UK university.
Peter holds a BA degree in History and a Masters in Human Resources Management.
